The Loro Blonyo are a pair of Javanese wooden statues representing a bride and groom, symbolizing unity, harmony, fertility, and household prosperity. They are inspired by the Hindu deities Dewi Sri and Raden Sadono (or Sri and Sadana) and were traditionally placed in the most sacred part of Javanese homes. Today, they are often given to newlyweds as a wish for happiness and offspring.
