Brahma is a major deity in the Hindu pantheon, often depicted with four faces and four arms, symbolizing his omniscience and his role as the creator of the universe, the gods, and all living beings, emerging from a lotus flower or a golden egg. He is the consort of Sarasvati, the goddess of wisdom, and is part of the Trimurti, the great Hindu trinity alongside Vishnu (the preserver) and Shiva (the destroyer). He embodies the universal creative force and is associated with the philosophical concept of Brahman, the supreme reality.
